The Beatles arrive in Indianapolis for their Sept. 3, 1964 concert at the Indiana State Fairgrounds. The British Invasion, however, was about far more than rock music. It was about pubs, and fish n chips, and soccer, and auto racing and on and on. In fact, it was not so much an one-time invasion as an ongoing occupation - which now enters its second half-century.
